Have you ever wondered how awesome it would be to share your love of yoga with kids and teens…or thought, if you had learned yoga and meditation when you were younger, how much more manageable and fulfilling life would have been?

Learn to teach Dru Yoga and meditation to children and teenagers from 3-18 in this comprehensive online course. You will receive all the tools to lead classes in schools confidently - sessions include understanding child development, how to adapt Dru yoga for children and how to plan engaging classes for all age groups.

The course is online - with homestudy sessions to watch in your own time and three live online half days which will be interactive with the Dru Uk tutor team. You will receive a beautiful comprehensive PDF manual, lesson plans, marketing information and everything you will need to become a confident teacher of children and young people.

The Dru Kids and Teens course equips you as a yoga teacher to do this in creative and fun ways. Help create ripples of love and joy in schools, community groups, holiday programmes, families, and wherever children are to be found!  This course is a collaboration with our Dru Australia team and will be taught by Suzanna Thell, Jane Clapham and a global team of experienced Dru Yoga teachers and educators.

Course structure

The Dru Kids and Teens teacher training is an interactive online training course designed to train you to confidently teach Dru Yoga to children and young adults, from 3 to 18 years old.

Once you have booked on the course, you will receive the first training materials to study at home.

One month before the first live day, you will be given access to the next part of the training videos to watch in your own time.

The live sessions are three mornings (Saturday or Sunday) over 4 weeks on Zoom, with three evening 1 hour tutorials

If you successfully complete the lesson planning assignment (you'll need to film a video of yourself teaching a children's class), you will receive a certificate as a Dru Kids and Teens teacher!

On Booking - you will receive access to:

  • Benefits of yoga for the brain and well-being of kids and teens
  • Introduction to Dru Yoga philosophy and principles
